The Titanic Signature Project, Belfast
The legend of the Titanic is kept alive by an engineering feat of the 21st century with Novelis aluminium anodising quality J57S.

The TSP embraces the development of a premium ‘must see’ visitor destination for the people of Belfast and visitors to the island of Ireland. This iconic building will be located in the heart of Titanic Quarter. It will present the story of the Titanic and the wider theme of shipbuilding and seafaring in Belfast.
The overall design of the building has been influenced by the shipbuilding heritage of Belfast. With its wave-like aluminium facades, conceived and designed by CivicArts / Eric R. Kuhne & Associates and constructed with the Belfast and Dublin-based Todd Architects as lead consultants, the building is as unforgettable as the story of the Titanic itself. The 4 corners of the building represent the hulls of a ship. Moreover the façade in the area of the hulls consists of a dry mortarless wall construction with decorative aluminium sheet cassettes and diamond-like shaped windows.
It will be the symbol of the City and will tell the story of the Belfast’s people as well as their infamous ship.
The purchaser Harcourt Construction Nothern Irland Limited commissioned the German façade constructor Metallbau Früh for the installation of the attractive façade. The whole facade will be cladded with Novelis 3mm aluminium J57S, making the iconic appearance of the building very distinctive.

The Titanic project is due to be completed in 2012, in time for the centenary of the Titanic's maiden voyage.
